INTERIM

INTERIM is a temporary intermediate restorative material; It is used as therapeutic basis for temporary restoration and cavities filling.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION: Setting time is approximately 5 to 8 minutes (for powder / liquid 6/1 in weight). It’s hydrogenic concentration has pH = 7 - 8, even at the moment that the product is placed in tooth. By thisreason INTERIM is one of the less irritant cement used in Dentistry.

USE INSTRUCTIONS: Powder/liquid ratio (g/g): 6/1 in weight. 1. On a flat glass plate dispense one measure of powder and one drop of liquid, divide powder into 3 equal parts; 2. Mix 1/3 of the powder with the liquid and espatule during 20 seconds; 3. Add more 1/3 of the powder and espatule during 20 seconds; 4. Finally add remaining 1/3 of the powder and espatule during 20 seconds until obtain a low adherent mass to the glass plate; 5. Place the material using Hollemback plugger and finish placement with a plugger or a burnisher while the cement is setting. Any excess may be taken off using a Hollemback carver or low speed burs.

CONTRAINDICATION: INTERIM should not be used in patients is known to have sensibility to any of the ingredients listed. Antiseptic and sedative properties due to Eugenol; Insoluble on oral environment; Biocompatibility as a pulp protective Promotes marginal sealing; Easy to remove.
