The presence of two sources of fluorine gives the product a fast initial action (exercised by sodium fluoride) and a longer but profound action (exercised by calcium fluoride). In regions of hyperesthetic dentin, BIOPHAT will act, obliterating the light of the dentinal canaliculi, preventing the passage of external stimuli that cause the painful sensation. Concentration of fluorine present in the product: Sodium Fluoride 6% = 2.71% fluorine ions. Calcium Fluoride 6% = 2.92% fluorine ions.
